I use colligan bottled 5 gallon water for the family and the chins to drink. I have the ice mountain (omg took me 6 times to spell mountain right lol brain fart:laughitup in their room when I have my lazy moments to climb a flight of stairs and across the house to get to the kitchen lol.

As for the cloth travel case it an hour, just make sure you're sitting next to the cage to support it just in case. Don't put it on your lap. Make sure your chin don't try to bite through the fabric or the netting. And of course keep it away from the sun.

Rose petals are like crack for my chins.

You could take the chance and harvest some, but just like the water, sometimes its better safe than sorry. My chin's preferred dealers are Essentia and Rhonda. They have some good stuff.

We give buds and petals as a treat, from hand.

do the rosebuds/petals need to be fresh? my parents shun all chemicals since we knew someone who lost a dog to the neighbor's chemlawned grass--organic before it was cool, if you will: their yard is the one with the dandelions, clovers, mint, sourgrass--even wild strawberries before the rabbits gobbled them all, and what Dad plants on purpose growing.
also, are they treats in the wait til 6 months sense of the word?
