My first kits!

My Nala had two little ones last night. Sadly, I was asleep and missed the birth : ( When I woke up I went to her cage, like I do every morning, and there were two little ones running around!! One is ebony and the other is gray. They are all doing well. I'm so proud of my Nala! She is a great mom. The only problem is... she looks wet. Does anyone know why? She feels dry but she looks wet and I have no idea how. I know I can't give her a dust bath for a little while either.

I can't answer the question about Nala looking wet, but that maybe the process of giving birth dirtied her coat and she will look better once it is ok to give baths again...?

She looks wet because it's the strain of ebony you've got. Some are shiny like that, other lines are a deep mat black that don't reflect the light. )

awww what cute babies! She's probably just wet from the birthing process...where is she wet? It should clear with a dust bath.
