My darlings

The first is "Phoenix" my Extra Dark Ebony girl that was bred by Applewood Chinchillas. She won Reserve Female of Show and Reserve Color Section Champion in 2006.

Second is "Zachary". Standard male bred by Ralph Shoots. Phoenix's mate.

"Chimmy" is Phoenix's and Zachary's baby. And was bred by Applewood.

Next is "Kristopher" a Black Velvet bred by Ralph Shoots. He won reserve Champion Male of Phase at the 2007 Nationals.

Then "Bubbles" a Standard bred by Ralph Shoots.

Panther

Panther deserves his own special post!

He was born looking like a BV, except a tuft on his tail was a bit lighter gray then the rest. As he got older that tuft turned to white, and his back didn't veil as a BV would. But he still had the BV look to him. Black, gray, and white.

For various reasons (pedigree included) I decided to pair him with a chin that has no ebony in her. They produced a definate Tan White kit. And the mistery was solved.

I like to joke with people and say he's my "rare Black Velvet, White Carrier" that can magically throw ebony cross colors :neener:.

These three newbies are from Phoenix and Zachary. 2 Hetero Ebony girls "cupcake" and "teddy" and a Standard, EBC? boy "rex" - named after my boyfriend of course.
