My chin's been chewing a lot recently?

I've had my chin for 10 months, and never noticed her chewing her wood this much. There's a wooden box at the bottom that she's literally been chewing to splinters the past few days. She's chewed before, but never this much... There's at least an inch of that box each day, I have to keep emptying the woodchips out of it daily.

My question is, is this a health or stress issue? Is she bored? Or is this sometimes normal? Thanks.

She is just in a 'chewing mood'. It is normal. Sometime they don't chew for a while and bam - they chew like crazy. Some chew all the time - some hardly chew at all. Each chin is different.

Chewing is opposite of a health issue, it is beneficial! Is she bored? Maybe. I would say it is normal for a chin to suddenly find interest in chewing something. Thinking back, a pair if my chins randomly destroyed a hidey house one night which they left alone in the past for months. The more they chew the better!

Alright... I was worried for a second! Gonna have to get the wood to make a new box though...

Rocco ADORES Mega Munch Sticks by Ware. They're un-flavored/scented willow sticks and he shreds them whenever I give him one. I posted this because it might distract your chin(s) from chewing up the box.
