Just wondering what you guys and girls think of my cage I'm open to some ideas but lets not go crazy :)

I'm guessing that's two cages, the top one looks pretty good expect the fabric house and double decker hammock tunnel thing, are those made of fleece? Anti-pill and blizzard (or arctic or polar, it goes by many names) are the only chin safe fabrics, and that includes the straps. It looks like you used fleece for the floor covering, that is the material the hammock and hanging house should be made of, other fabric can unravel in strands when chewed and if eaten can cause an impaction and/or even slice their intestine apart. Aside from that the top cage could use some hanging toys. The bottom cage pictured looks like it has a wire grate floor, that can be dangerous, it's hard on their feet to stand on and little toes, feet and possibly legs can get caught and break, you'll want to cover that or, if you can, remove it.

Thanks for the advice, 1 for the second cage I've asked many people about it the last 3 years of owning chinchillas most say wire floor is okay as long as it has patches for the chinchilla to sit to avoid bumble foot, plus helps the floor is quite compacted with the bars, as for the other cage the chinchillas in there I trust not to chew as they have had those hammocks for over 2 years and are both in good condition without any bites just wear and tear from jumping out of them, I do thank you for your concern though, I will be buying more toys for them :) reason have not got a lot because my Ebony(Shadow) went on a chewing all the wood he could spree haha :p

I'm going to suggest toys. Hanging toys and toss toys to wear the teeth down. Don't think there are any toys in the cage, but if they have toys it will help make their shelves last longer. Without toys they only have shelves, houses, etc to chew.

Also, wire floors aren't good for chinchillas. You might find a way to over it. Assuming those are 2 cages, the last picture looks to have a wire floor and newspaper under it.

Wire flooring with smaller spaces is generally ok if you have some solid areas for them to rest on, however it looks like the wire spacing in this cage is large. I would be more concerned about a chin potentially getting a leg caught accidentally and breaking it more than bumblefoot. My only other suggestion would be maybe a wheel if you can afford it. Not necessary but all my chins love their wheels.
