well im moving today. Packing all the stuff then a 3h ride. So here's hoping my chins deal with it well! (Not to mention the two little LOUD dogs when we get there)

Of course when i had to move there cages a few yards into my room earlier this month because it was too warm, they never stopped freaking out those few days until i put them back. So heres also hoping they react a lot better then that :/

No net for a week or two either, so lets hope nothing goes wrong.

Good luck. Moving is right down there at the bottom of things I want to do.:hair:

I hate moving. You don't know how much stuff you have till you have to put it all in boxes and move it. Hope everything goes smoothly.

I may have a few more chins than you, but I tell you...I'm pretty sure the chins ARE the reason we haven't moved...gosh I would HATE to have to do the chins. How did it go?

finally got my net back up today.

The move went as smoothly as it could i guess. The chins seemed fine in the car. For a guy like me that leans more towards heat and doesn't like being cold, the long ride with the AC on for them was a lot of fun'

They are settling into their new room. The road there wall faces is a bit more active then the area they are used to. So its taking a while for them to adjust to that.

After almost two weeks, my two males are starting to come out of there hut a little bit more often. My three girls tho are still mostly hiding in there hut all the time. Only one occasionally comes out.

They are not eating as much, but i guess that comes with the nerves of moving. Only about half the pellets are gone each day. Maybe a little more for the girls but that's because my boys were transitioning to new food that they are not to fond of. - I used to feed them a handful of hay in the evening then another before i went to bed but they have not been touching they hay until after im asleep. So i wake up to an empty hay bowl. (apparently new pellets they don't care for is what it took to get my boys eating there hay again)

More like you don't know how much space it will all take until you run out... :/

I was debating a 17ft or 20ft truck. I decided on 20ft just to be sure. Worse case ill have some extra room...

WRONG! worst case i find out there is still not enough room in the truck!
I might be going back up this weekend to get the rest...oh joy'

cant edit the last posts so ill have to do another one. But i cant wait till i get everything situated and organized. Once it is ill show you all the chins private room! (kinda private, there are two ferrets in cages there as well.)
