Poor things. Right now they are both bloated and constipated. I am doing everything everyone is saying but nothing seems to be working. Should I be rubbing harder?

Rubbing their bellies harder won't help. You could try warm compresses, that can help. They aren't defecating properly and probably have a lot of fecal matter that needs to pass. Gas can be an issue, but being impacted badly is usually deadly. Newborn kits are at serious risk for this when being handfed. I wish you could find a local breeder to help you out at this point....someone with some know how would be best. I'm not sure if a vet could even help you.

(This is one of the reasons why I tell people to please, please not start breeding chins. It is heartbreaking to lose the mom if she has an issue giving birth, but also completely devastating to lose kits that you have been handfeeding...)

The only breeder I know doesnt breed anymore and lives 2+ hours away unfortunantely. I probably will be taking a long break from breeding after this though. As much as I adore chin babies, it really is just sad watching them. They are both so active still though :/

So they are still doing OK I think. The tan one is definitely still having some bms but I'm not sure about the gray one. They're still acting normal so that's good. The weekends over though so it's the sisters turn to watch them. I'm sure she will get them going again

Well they're both still hanging in there. The gray one is doing great. The tan one though has good days and bad days.. They are are about 16 days old now. When can I start to feed them less often?

Hopefully the pictures I attached work. So they are 4 weeks and 2 days old now! They are both still doing great I think. They are both eating hay and occasionally I see them snacking on pellets (and woodchips too). Is there any way to teach them how to use the water bottle or will they figure it out on their own?

I was amazed when I tried to teach them to dust bath. They saw their dad do it briefly once and when I put them in there they both knew exactly what to do. They are so smart.

The beige one weighs just over 130 grams and the gray one is just over 150. Though i'm not sure my scale is working properly (its a cheap one).

The tan one won't drink more than 1 dropper of milk every 2-3 hours though. Compared to the gray one drinking 2-3 at a time. Hes a fatty though.

The chins are doing great! They have been completely weened off of milk for a long time now and you would never know they were hand-fed.

Glad you and the chins made it through hand feeding. My gosh that's a job I don't wish on anyone. I've done it a couple times and its like having a baby again.
They look great! Congrats
