Mork bring in the new year!

My friend had a party for some international students at her place on New Years; 2 were from Japan and 1 from Korea, and I asked my friend if they'd ever seen a chinchilla before-nope, didn't even know what it was, so I brought Mork along with me. He was sooo good about it, they immediately fell in love with him and kept petting him and holding him and going back and forth, and he just sat there most of the time. Only 1 or 2 nibbles, but who could blame him?
It was so much fun to show him off to people who had never seen a chinchilla before! My friend was so funny trying to explain a chinchilla to them, she told them it was 'like a big hamster' so I don't know what they were expecting, really, lol.

He got away and went hopping through the house, which they all found hilarious, so I grabbed him and lifted him up--They screamed when I held him like this--it was SO hard trying to explain that it was one of the easiest ways to pick him up!

When he got a cheerio after the whole ordeal and he picked it up in his paws and was eating it, I thought my ears were going to explode from their squeals of delight. "AHH! SO CUUTE!"

ETA: The above picture is old. The wooden/cotton toys have been taken out of all of their cages because I learned that cotton string is a no-go for them.

I think so too! I showed them pictures of my other chinchillas as well, they thought Rodya was hilarious ("Aaahh So fat!")
