Well, at least I get some good news baby wise! We had a beautiful HUGE 72 gram v/c baby born to my standard shoots male and a violet wrap female, Bonnie and Clyde. He is gorgeous, and probably one of her last litters. She is almost 8, and gives me about 1 litter a year, so I am debating on whether to take her out of breeding or not. I don't think she will breed if she is not ready, and I never put her hubby back in until the baby is weaned. She is a great mom and doesn't ever have more than 2, so I don't think it is hurting her. Any advice?

Then, we had 2 babies, I really don't know what the heck is going on because the male is a beige the female a **** beige and the babies are a beige and a brown velvet. I am looking back on the pedigrees and there is a few tov's in the **** beige's background, so I guess it is possible. She never looked tov to me, but I am guessing she is or a carrier -she has to be. Anyway, they are nice and big too- both over 50 grams. So, that is great news for us!

Plus, my dark ebony girl that was born a few months ago is growing out very nicely, I thought she would be extra dark but she made up for it by being so big and blocky. I weaned a few girls yesterday and they are very nice chins, I look forward to showing them in Feb. Pictures soon to come of the babies!
