Mom is now decorator-zilla!

So mom and I have been spending lots of time together decorating my new apartment. My mom is amazing and phenomenal at this just like Lisa was. Anyway there are actually days I'm incredibly lazy--like most days lol--but now I find myself unable to have pajama wearing all day long days because the woman is obsessed with decorating!

Lynelle and Chris are coming over on Sunday. I'm making lasagna and tres leches cake as a thank you for helping me move and mom is wanting to come over on Saturday so we can fill the green bakers rack before they come on Sunday!

She went from hating the thing and having me toss it out to digging it out of the dumpster and putting it against the wall behind the couch with the new picture we bought!

This woman is unstoppable lol! I'm sure Lynelle and Chris don't care a flying fig if my bakers rack is empty!

I think I need a decorating intervention for my mom!

Laurie, it's awesome that you're decorating your apartment and your mom is helping you!

She would probably pass out if she saw my place...I've been here for almost a year and all my walls are white, I have nothing on them, and basically no furniture! LOL!

Shayna I can certainly send her your way! Just don't give her a chin to hold because she freaks out at their whiskers going! When I brought baby Lisa out for her to see she was very concerned about her whiskers lol! I was like mom, she's not going to eat you!

My mom is an amazing decorator--her condo looks wonderful! I wish I had a smidge of her talent, then again I don't have too since she likes to come over and help me!

If it makes you feel better, I can send my mom your way and she can clean your house while your mom decorates it. lol
My mom is OCD on house cleaning. She cleans our everyday. My nephew currently has toys everywhere and its driving her insane

As my mom is retired I am happy to see about pimping her out to those in need lol! Bonne I am not so great at the cleaning! My mom also cleans everyday--me I'd rather lay around in jammies and read. But I am trying to sort of turn over a new leaf lol! And we are having lots of fun together and I think she needs this to help her not be so sad about losing Lisa--as Lynelle says--thanks for taking one for the team lol!

I think it is wonderful that your mom is so involved in your life! My parents, who live 15 minutes away, never find the time to come for a visit. Enjoy your mom...even if she goes a bit overboard, lol.
