Does anyone know the dosage of ivermectin to give a hedgie with mites? Unfortunately, our hedgie has them for the second time. My vet told us sometimes they can come in the bedding so it will be disinfectant and newspaper for a while.

Ivermectin is not a good choice and can adverse reactions including death. Revolution is much safer. The dose for cat or kitten Revolution is .01 ml/cc per 400grams of weight.

I used Revolution on the one case of hedgehog mites that I dealt with and it worked great. Take Nancy's advice above.
