Missing toe?

Wow! this forum is a real help for me!
Now I can ask many things I wasn't sure about!

Now to the point.

My chin appears to have a missing toe (at least I think it is)

It's very common. I have several chinchillas that are missing toes. Cagemates can bite them off, mom can bite them off when giving birth, etc.

Before I joined this forum and knew the difference between safe and unsafe wheels, one of mine lost part of her toe in a pet store wheel I had. I felt so bad for her. Forums are great learning tools aren't they.
