Currently I have about 20 liners. I use Tide and set the washer on presoak and extra rinse. I don't let the liners get too dirty that's why I change them out often and why I have so many on hand. I have really bad allergies/asthma and that is why I use fleece. It just works for me.

I use Tide sport for my liners. I currently have 4 liners for my one chin. I pull her liners out twice a week and toss them into the wash. I have two pyrex litter pans that sort of work well. For the longest time they were ignored, then I started to keep a little soiled litter in them. I just dumped all of the litter and now my chin is back to peeing on her liners. Honestly, I'm starting to debate not having a litter pan. As long as you pull the soiled fleece often there should be no urine smell.

I use the Tide knockoff from Costco. ;)

I have a few cages with litter pans, but only with the chins who aren't messy and exclusivly use the pans. For everyone else they get to pee on the fleece itself. I wash with detergent, warm water, and a cup full of white vinegar. Even the liners that are peed on directly come out with no smell whatsoever.

For cages with more than one chin I change liners every 2ish days. For all the singles they have their liners changed approx. every 4ish days. For all the cages though I shake out their liners each morning. It only takes a second and the cages look nicer in between the liner changes.
