Ive been successful keeping meimei and da Vinci from knowing each others existence =D
Until two days ago .. Mei spotted him when I took him upstairs to run
(on the way up we need to pass a bathroom in which da Vinci is in )

Since then he's been annoyed , angry up set looking ..

This temperament usually passed when he gets his night time cuddles
So after our cuddle session , he's standing eye level with me and gives me lots of sniffs on my nose and bites me lightly.. Yay ! He's grooming me =D

Next thing you know he bites down harder
Ooowwww !!!
Call the medics! Put down the chinchilla !!
Gawd!!!
Is this revenge?! 。・°°・(>_<)・°°・。
Are they even capable of vengeful thoughts?

He made up with a sorry upset face ...
why is he so cute?!

he may have smelled Mei Mei on you. he may have smelled something yummy on you. he may have had a daft moment and thought you were an apple twig

i don't think animals get quite the same emotions as us silly humans. we personify our animals way too much/too often, lol.

why do you have a chin cage in the bathroom? that is much too humid an environment for a chin to live in.

The basement bathroom hasn't been used for over 10 years
Da Vinci is the New addition, in qurratine

I realize I should of used more names, Mei bit me after noticing da Vinci in the bathroom

Meimei Is bein Jealous for sure

Maybe it really is a daft moment (^_−)−☆

He looks pretty pissed. :D Jealousy is pretty common, especially when he's been the only chin in the household. My chins have done the same thing, not so much when I brought in a 3rd chin. But I think that was because my oldest chin was used to more than just him around. He'll get over it, just make sure you give him attention to reassure him he's not forgotten.
