Meeting one of my fav authors!

I'm not trying to make Peggy feel bad, but I just had to post and say I get to meet one of my "keeper" authors, J R Ward on April 29th! J R Ward is the writer of The Black Dagger Brotherhood series, which is a very "grown up" vampire series. Her latest book is out on the April 29th and I was even complaining because at book 9 it's being released in hardcover and I hate hardcover--BUT for the chance to meet her and have her sign a book I'll do hardcover! I'm actually bringing a couple of my older books by her to have her sign as they are my favorite and I re-read them constantly.

I only hope I don't turn into a blithering idiot--as I have that tendency. Just ask both Donald Driver and Dorsey Levens of the Green Bay Packers! I'm sure they can tell you all about my blitheringness!

I don't know how I'm going to make it over the next 6 weeks!!!!!!

That is so awesome Laurie! When I met Christopher Paolini a few years back (promotion for Eldest I think), I couldn't stop looking from him to the picture in 'about the author' and back again. Blithering in front of authors is my speciality, so don't feel bad when you do. Which you probably will.

Peggy my couch is kind of uncomfortable and you would have to sleep in the livingroom with the chins making all kinds of noise--but yep you would be welcome ANY TIME! I know how much you like The Black Dagger Brotherhood just like me.

I just found out Beth Kery is going to be in Chicago in May and she is another big fav of mine! She's going to at DePaul University book store I believe--and I'm really thinking about driving on down to the Windy City to see her as well.
