Thanks guys!! Reggie is really fitting in well and he's such a good boy! Over the past few days I've alternated with taking him places with me AND leaving him home so he understands it could go either way...and he's doing very well with it. If I go to the front door with keys in hand and tell him to "stay" he'll go straight to his bed and lay down. If I go to the door with keys in hand and say "come", he comes with me. He is not so rambuncious (sp?) now when I leave him and come back in...before he would go wild. So far, he hasn't destroyed anything in the house and has been well behaved. I think he knows that when I do leave the house I AM coming back for him and sometimes he gets treated to a car ride
Baseball practice started this week for TJ and Jared is in soccer so either one of them will have practice every night except for games on Saturday & nothing on Sunday, so I've been taking him with us to practice just for some extra exercise. The boys on Jared's soccer team have already assigned Reggie as their "Mascott" LOL.
As far as the Great Dane mix, I'm really not sure...I only know what I've been told, but he definitely is a Pit Bull and I agree that they're great dogs! You can see the gratitude in him every day for the great life he lives! I'm pretty sure he's here to stay!!
