I am working on completing my final paper for a class and need some more resources for information.

My topic is diet supplements, and something like a good source for medical journals or anything that has foundation would be appreciated, I have two books here but I need at least four different sources of information.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Do you have a college ID and password? Through the U of A we can go to our Library, Resources, and Journals and submit our ID's to be allowed into all academic journals. PubMed I've used before but if you don't have access it may be hard to obtain the information (you'll get the abstract but not the full article). I'll go search right now for you other Journals that come up with my ID.

ETA:

Journal of Dietary Supplements (2008 - present)
Journal of Nutraceuticals, Functional & Medical Foods (2000 - 2004)
Food Science & Nutrition you can look under as well.

Here's some articles I found just by searching dietary supplements on PubMed - hopefully you can access the full articles online.

J Am Diet Assoc. 2009 Dec;109(12):2073-85.
Position of the American Dietetic Association: nutrient supplementation.

Phys Med Rehabil Clin N Am. 1999 Aug;10(3):673-703.
Nutrition and dietary supplements.

Gastroenterology. 2009 Nov 18.
Dietary Fiber Supplements: Effects in Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome and Relationship to Gastrointestinal Functions.

Med Sci Monit. 2009 Nov;15(11):RA256-62.
Formulations of dietary supplements and herbal extracts for relaxation and anxiolytic action: Relarian.

Another Journal: American Journal of Clinical Nutrition

I've been finding some stuff on pubmed which is good, I have a college ID and password for my college if that helps any, lol. I can try it out!

Does your college have a link to their Libraries? There should be a place to log in your college id/password to access their books/journals/etc.

Thanks for all the help guys, paper is done and ready to be handed in on Monday, one last chapter test to take in that class and it's done, and I can be done with my classes for this semester, but I think I'll probably do the optional final in Chemistry to try for an A, our instructor will drop the lowest grade if we do it, or if we want to keep the grade we have we don't have to do it! He's a super instructor, I loved his class!
