mazuri or land o lakes??

i called my local feed store and she said that she can order me the mazuri chinchilla food...

my other question is she asked what food i was originally feeding and i told her the purina. she said they always keep land o lakes in stock and that they own purina..that there food is 17% protein... can i use the land o lakes??? it might be land of lakes sorry lol...

i need to know cuz im almost out and it will take her a week to get my mazuri food in and im kind of hesitant to use it because i have heard so many stories about the soft stool problems.... no one else carries purina around me except for the people that screwed me over..

Land O Lakes does own Purina Mills. I wasn't aware that they had any rabbit feed (I'm assuming that's what you're talking about) that were labeled "Land O Lakes". Google just brings up Purina Mills rabbit chows.

yes she said it is rabbit food. or she can order the mazuri chinchilla food for me... but they keep the rabbit food in stock and im unaware of what i should do lol

I would have them order the Mazuri, I get a 25 lb bag of Mazuri from my local feed store and never had a problem with loose stool. If I am close to running out before the shipment gets here I just suppliment more with Hay till it comes in. Then I dont have to worry about change in food and then going back to Mazuri.

Can you get a list of ingredients and the nutritional information from the Land O Lakes food? Nobody can make an informed decision without knowing what is in the food.

yes i will get the info next time i go in there for shavings. i just went ahead and found another bag of purina until i could decide on the food to get for them
