After other members had problems with the PANR to Rabbit Chow Show switch over, I decided to switch my girls over to Manna Pro Sho. It is a bit more of a hassle for me to get, just because I have to drive further but it isn't too bad. Anyway the girls are now all fully switched over and wow do they love that stuff! I have A LOT less wasted pellets now. Maddie and Mitzie will have a few half eaten pellets left over but nearly as much as with the PANR and Lizzie and the babies have NO half eaten pellets most days!

How about other people that feed Manna Pro? Do you have less wasted pellets than with other brands?

We are giving Manna Pro Sho 10 paws up over here!

I don't know about a not as many wasted pellets per say but we've had not one issue of soft poos since the switch from Mazuri, we love Manna Pro Sho over here too!

I wasn't getting it fresh enough, 3/4 of my herd was dumping it. Ended up going to the purina brown bag. Glad it's working for you though.

My chins love it here as well. I am only a couple hours from the mill and I always get it in nice and fresh. (The mill date is normally the current or previous month). I've been feeding it for 3 1/2 years now.

All my chins that are on it love it.

Yoshi is on Shoots pellets still.. last time I tried to get him switched, he REFUSED to eat it over the Shoots pellets. He was 10 weeks old then so I was more concerned about him eating and gaining wait. I'll be trying the switch again soon though, hopefully he's better about it this time!

I used to use this and my chins loved it. I was having problems getting it fresh though (no one around here carries it and I had to order it every time). So I have had to switch off of it.

I've been trying to switch my boy off of the PANR, but he's in love with it. (it could be because of his stommach issues) Is Purina Show Chow that much different than PANR?

There are some differences which you can see below. There is enough difference between the two that occasionally animals won't switch easily from one formula to the other.

Wow that is quite a difference, no molassas products. lots of soybeans stuff in there too. I wonder if it will compare the same to panr in the long run?

I tried Manna Pro for 2 months until the feed store was trying to sell me bags from Oct or Nov '09 and I was purchasing it in March. I switch back to Purina. I have two chin here that are on Manna Pro.

I don't have any chins that eat it exclusively, but I do feed it as a treat every once in a while, and all of them seem to like it. The only reason I have not switched is because they are all doing well on their normal feed. I have 2 on Mazuri and one on PRCS.

Cane Molasses is the 6th ingredient in Purina Rabbit Chow.

We just bought Purina Rabbit Chow and are switching everyone from PenPals to that - hopefully it works, or next stop is Manna Pro.
