Lump on his ear

I have just found a lump on my chins ear which was not there before, it is quite small about the size of a small human spot. It does not appear to cause any discomfort to squeak. Has anyyone had this with their chins.

What color is your chin? Often beige chins will get freckles in their ears as they age even though they have none when they are young.

He is dark grey, it is quite raised and its on the outside of his ear

Is it flakey or solid? If it's flakey, it could be the start of fungus. If it's solid, it's possible he pinched his ear in something and has a small blood blister or cyst under the skin. I've seen it happen in a chin or two, and it either goes away or it just sits there. It doesn't seem to cause them any pain.
