Peggy brought up a good point I never really thought about before. Horses have a extra special bond with us because of all all the places they've taken us on their backs, we trust them with our life and safety. My thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a horse for many years and like others have said, they are truly special. There was nothing more therapeutic to my mind and soul than a trail ride on my horse or just brushing her, kissing her soft nose and talking to her.

My thoughts are with you at this time.

So sorry for your loss. I know just how you feel; my 31 year old horse, Paris, passed away from a heart attack back in April. He was my first horse and a dream come true for me.

Think of all the great times you had with him, and try to take comfort in the fact that you gave him a great life, and in the end, you gave him a kind death. Again, my condolences.
