Losing whiskers

Hey guys,

I have an appointment scheduled with the vet for next week as I suspect that Akhiro has mites, he hasn't had any spine loss until tonight all of a sudden I noticed 3 and 2 whiskers?! Has anyone else's hog ever had this happen?

I'm pretty sure I've seen a whisker here or there, but never 5 falling out in short order. That does seem odd.

He had both of his longest whiskers fall out in a week, when the first one did I didn't think much of it...but once the 3 spines and the other whisker fell out I was a bit alarmed...his mood seems the same, nothing has really changed with him!

How's his skin looking in general? I'm wondering if he's dealing with repercussions of dry skin vs mites.
