Looking into getting a hedgehog ?

I was reecently looking into getting a hedgehog and obviously need to do a lot of research first, but i would like some advice from actual owners, any tips ? or major things i should know ?

I'm not sure where you are from, but hedgies are not legal as pets everywhere. You might want to check into that first. Then, go to the hedgehog FAQs here and read, read, read...

They are legal here, but i've been reading a lot, and i'm going to wait until im a bit older , becasue i need to be able to have my own apartment or house so i can keep my chinchillas and hedgehogs in seperate rooms, so i will have to wait awhile tell im older. So i have a long time to read about them.
