I was watching my chins play and thought how much Lola has changed since she was given to me, so i thought she deserved her little story told.

When we had Lola she was a mess, her fur was matted, sticky with a yellow tint and greasy. She was also under weight with no food or water in her cage and her cage was so filthy she was walking in her own urine and fesis. She also didnt have any sand. Her owners had gotten divorced and she was left with the wrong owner, she did have a sister but died before i got hold of Lola.

I may still be learning how to look after my chins in the best way possible but i know im working to be the best owner that i can possibly be. After what she looked like before i think i can honestly say she is doing loads better than before :)

The day we had her:-

Ive had her 3 yrs this year :D

After being unloved in her old home it makes me happy that she is such a friendly chinnie, she just takes everything in stride :D

That's an amazing transformation!! It sickens me how people can do that to any animal! Let alone a cute and lovable chinchilla!!

I hate people abusing animals... We also adopted a macaw parrot from the girls mom aswell because she wasnt looking after him either.

The matting on Lolas back was three different matts joined into one huge one, it makes me mad because she has such a lovely personality. Atleast now she has a huge clean cage, all the food, water and sandbaths she needs and a family that loves her lots :D

Thank you for your comments !!

wow those first few pictures made me cry she look so sad looking. But the last picture she looks very happy. Im glad she found someone to take care of her

what a transformation! she looks right lovely now.

on a side note, i'd remove that seed bell from their cage. chins shouldn't be eating seeds.

It wasnt a seed bell, it was parsley :D She didnt eat it at all lol just thought it was good to jump on ha ha.

wow what a difference. The poor girl before :( never seen a chin look like that.
Im glad she has a happy home now:) she looks gorgeous!
