Yep, the vet favorite antibiotic was given, Baytril (enrofloxacin) and a motility drug and pain med. Baytril kills the appetite so you will most likely have to handfeed during the use of the antibiotic and maybe beyond for a week or so-using baytril orally we are not 100% sure why this happens, its thought its the foul taste or that it kills the good bacteria in the digestive tract but either way it happens. I would go to a health food store and pick up some acidophilus-capsule form and at least 10billion count and crack it open and put it in his daily critical care, give him a meal 4 hours from the baytril dose and feed the rest normally. Pick up also some simethicone-its baby gas drops you can get at a drug or grocery store in the baby medicine or digestive medicine section, give him a full dropper every 4 hours or so for a few days. He will need at least 60ml a day of the CC. Give him plenty or outside exercise to keep the digestion moving.
