Hi all,

After having to wait 2 months after full brain radiation, Lisa had her brain MRI and results are clear! Yay! She had several very small lesions in her brain back in August and underwent full brain radiation. She had the brain radiation in addition to chemo and was pretty exhausted for the 15 treatments--2 full weeks of radiation. It caused some pretty crappy side effects as well, but honestly just breast cancer alone is pretty crappy.
But good news is---there are no visible lesions!
Lisa was diagnosed with Stage IV triple negative breast cancer on August 1st--with her cancer spreading to lungs, brain and bones. Since then with her treatment her bones and brain have now cleared--the tumor in her lung remains but is shrinking--just not enough to stop the weekly chemo treatments (unfortunately)
THANKS TO EVERYONE PRAYING FOR MY BEAUTIFUL SISTER, LISA!

Your support, love and prayers are greatly appreciated by me and especially Lisa (who does come on the forum as a guest to check out the super cute chinnies and hedgies we have here!)

Go Lisa is right. She is a fighter. And to have you sucking her into the love of chinchillas - Plain cruel! LOL. When she getting one ;)

It's so great to hear an awesome update on her health. May Lisa have continued success in this battle. She is such a fighter! Much love and prayers from everyone here.

That is wonderful news. You all are so strong, and such a major part of why and how Lisa is able to keep going. I've heard of too many people giving up because "its just too hard", and they let it beat them. Lisa is a strong and powerful woman, and her courage is admirable!

Lisa should sooo get an account here!
I'm sure that there is more than one person who would love to chat with her! We know so much about her and it seems as though she's touched so many lives here.

Go LISA!!!!
You wanna fight it? Fight like a champ!!
:woohoo:

As the others said.. Lisa is such a fighter. This is great news, and she'll continue to be in my thoughts.
