Yay! Just found this thread. I also belong to the camp of taking a ton of pictures and hoping one comes out good. Here are some of my better ones. Oh, and I love food porn and instagram.

We have some great pictures my husband has taken on some of our vacations. My pictures always just look like vacation pictures, but he always comes away with some great shots. This one is one of my favorites.

Here's one from a friend's house I was at over Thanksgiving.

I love taking pics, and these are only taken with my cell phone. The first two pics are taken at sunset at a nearby beach. The second were taken earlier in the year, with the aid of a telescope.

Nope, all of my pictures are raw off whatever point-and-shoot camera or phone I have available. I do shrink them a bit to conform to forum standards though.

I also love the one of the Turtle. I'd like to swim with them one day... )

Lava lamps are so cool. The bubble ornament is really pretty! And I'm so jealous you live next to such a beautiful mountain!

Fostering a gerbil litter from the shelter that was dropped off when they were just 1 1/2 days old.
Took some pictures.. from days 4 and 5 (this morning)

I'm slowly trying to find time to edit a few more from that day at the beach, so expect more hopefully soon.
The closest seagull is a little out of focus, but I like how at-peace they are.
Us humans can learn a thing or two from animals on tolerating each others' differences.
