Lava items?

My chin won't touch pumice stones for some reason

Quick question, you know lava rocks? The little red rocks people have in their garden that just looks like a red pumice stone? Are those ok to give to chins?

I'm no expert but for some reason, I'm going to say No. Though I'm not really sure.

My chin loves the lava bites (the loose triangles that come in a 3 pack) and will chew them up in minutes!

I bought the lava landings and dots, but she hasn't destroyed them at all. It's been a month and only the landing's edges have been rounded out just a tad. I've noticed that Sesame is sorta lazy and would prefer being able to hold the actual chewing item in her paws as opposed to it hanging or being bolted to the cage walls where she has to work for it. You could always get some to try it out. Another alternative is to just buy pumice stones. My chin loves them just as much and it's cheaper than the lava bites.

Shiloh is the same way. If he can hold it and pack it around with him, he likes to chew it...if its hanging up or attached to the cage it goes ignored. All except his swing, though he lays on it to chew the toys on it.

I believe they have red dye in them, too! Not good!
