Lady has developed lumps on each of her inner toes. They look like raised pimples under the skin. Her fur is still intact but the skin underneath is raised and red. At this point the skin is not broken. She's fine when I rub her other toes, but when I touch these she pulls back in discomfort. I looked at the bottoms of her feet and they appear normal. Any thoughts?
As a side note she is on fleece, not wire.
