I've been looking for an in-expensive secondary chin for my first one. I haven't seen any pet store in my area carry any, i live 30 min west of Boise. When I check craigslist, there is a listing once a week, and usually a female. I own a male and dont want to start getting kits yet. So been trying to find a decent male for my male. I guess it is true what they say, Idahoan's are the last to hear or get anything new.

I know of a new start up breeder in Moscow but she probably wont have anything available just yet. You can PM me if you want her email. Better yet here's her website. http://www.aspengrovechins.com/

Trinity is probably in the same city as you, the Craners are in Idaho falls, and Ronda is in Hermiston, OR. All within 4 hours. :))

Moscow is a 5-6 hour drive depending on the time of year. Very beautiful up that way.

Totally not true! :p Though I did see some interesting hicks when I worked for the Potlach FS. Since I've moved to LA, I've learned what a third world country is like...

Had to add that there will be a chinchilla show in Hermiston, OR the last weekend of September. If you want to wait, most of the area's breeders will be there with chins and you can play with them and pick what you like. :))
