what is everyone's plans?

mine is -today my hubby is coming up to wisconsin (haven't seen him since july 6th). tomorrow not sure on plans yet, possibly tractor pull with family. sunday, rodeo with my bestie (husband not included ahhha). and then monday celebrate my hubby's 21st. :thumbsup:

It's got to be a great weekend for you if your hubby is coming home after being away so long!

My hubby is working overtime Saturday and Sunday, but Monday our plans are to go hiking up to the glacier on our nearby mountain. I've been wanting to take the kids up this beautiful hiking trail, and had to wait for my kids to get old enough to cross some of the more difficult terrain. I'm very excited for this hike, and this will be our last family day of summer before the kids begin school on Wednesday and life becomes hectic again.

i would love to go hiking! but really terrified of hiking in the mountains by my home/town in New Mexico. too many elks and wolves for this girl. and then getting into dryer parts and you get the scorpions, rattlesnakes, tarantulas, etc.. EW! not my cup of tea thats for sure.

I live in the NW and we're pretty safe in this pretty area. There are bear and cougar, but I've lived here a lifetime and never have seen one in person. But we do go hiking prepared, just in case.

its safe in my home state (wisconsin) but whenever i'm here i never i wanna go hiking.

Oh trust me. Housekeeping on holidays can suck. Mostly Labor Day and the Fourth of July though because of the amount of beer. :vomit:

Like very weekend, working on the renovation of our second house in Modesto, chins love the place and I like the pool!

Hanging out doing nothing though not by choice. This tropical storm showed up and has squatted upon us, dumping a ton of rain and wind.

I had a lot of exterior work planned though if I'm lucky the winds/rain will be strong enough to pressure wash the siding for me? lol.

Working also. We had a BBQ yesterday, and I got sick. That wasn't fun :wacko:

Going to the mountains we have a HOA meeting tomorrow followed by a potluck. My husband went up today since he has a board meeting.

We're just relaxing at home. Yesterday we smoked some salmon filets for dinner which was really good and tonight we're having ribs and sausages. We would go hiking except that we're over 100 degrees again and there's a possibility of thunder storms on Monday which means it will be ridiculously humid on top of the heat. Might break out the kiddy pool and do some cool down relaxation.

We went and visited my dad and his wife today. They just came back from Disneyworld with two of my brothers and my step-brother and had some gifts for Cassadi. Tomorrow and Monday? Laundry and relaxing....

We are closing the pool down :dance3: Then little odds and ends to get ready for the first day of school on Wed.

I get to go see the boyfriend and our new puppy!! Student teaching has us pretty far apart, but I'm in a really beneficial school sooooo oh well. AND teachers actually get Labor Day off I love teacher schedules!!
