There are so many stories (not just on here, but other BB's I frequent) about horrible teachers, that I felt I had to share.
I have one freeking amazing teacher. I've had teachers before, particularly last year, who I loved and were awesome... but my AP Chemistry teacher goes above and beyond.
She gives up her lunch period for us because we have class right after lunch, and a lot of the time we're just in there to hang out and get help/review if we need it.
Now that AP exams are coming up fast, every lunch period she does a rapid review session to help refresh our memory. She stays after school every day just for AP kids who want to come in for more review. That is more than a lot of teachers do... but she still does more than that. Some kids have practice, jobs, or just can't make it after school for the reviews so she is willing to do sessions on the weekend for AP kids. This Saturday she is doing one at 8am, but some kids can't make that one due to job/sports, so she's doing another one at 8pm.
You guys probably think this is really random and ask why I am even posting this, but after hearing stories of (and me having a few) bad teachers, I had to post this. She really puts more time into us AP kids (I didn't have her for general chem but I'm sure she is just as good) than she is required to and I know many of us greatly appreciate it!
