This is Jericho. When she was born her mother had a little bit of a problem and sort of removed her ear. It grew in as a nub, a precious little nub. She's a wonderful little chin, but no one has wanted her due to her "imperfection." She's perfect regardless of what anyone thinks! She's sweet, affectionate and loves shreddies. (Note the bribe.) :)

I think that we have found a home for her, but I am just sending pictures now. Hopefully the lady will want her! I'm a little nervous because Jericho has been passed up before. I may as well just keep her. She looks standard, but she's actually a light light ebony.

I think she's cute despite the missing ear. People are so superficial! :D

in this case, one is better than two!! SO adorable and charasmatic!!

Very cute! Just tell them she is a pirate chinchilla. If I was closer I would take her off your hands. AZ to NY would be a long railroad.

She's beautiful Susan! If I were only closer...;) I will keep my fingers crossed for a wonderful forever home for her.

or she could be a member of the chinchilla mafia... she had to prove her alliance at the cost of an ear!

I have a weakness for chins with imperfections. I think she is adorable and I would adopt her in a heart beat if she was male and I was closer.

She is adorable. If I was allowed to bring home another chin I would drive out to you and get her. She is perfect.

She's very used to being in a cage with other little girls...she was weaned into the cage with Candi, Saffron, Parsley and Felisha...and I've weaned babies into the cage with her over the last few months.

I did receive a response from the lady in Phoenix wanting her. So far she's thinking she wants her. She actually has Parsley now...so they know each other. They're both on the same food and everything...there are no other pets around and the care is basically identical to what it would be here in terms of food and everything. Maybe we'll just do a couple weeks of quarantine? I know there will be no issues with the girls getting along!

So, I'm pretty excited about that. :D I'll be taking a new cage with me for Parsley...so there's two cages for a brief quarantine period. I can't wait to see Parsley again...she has another name...but she will always be Parsie to me! I am attaching pictures of her from when she was a little wigglet right before she went to a new home. She sure was a little cutie pie.

Aww, she's absolutely adorable! I think it gives her character! It's really a shame that people will pass up a wonderful little girl like that just because of a "defect"...

I think she is just beautiful. I don't understand why she would be considered as having a "defect", my little boy was born (I think) without all but one toe on his right front foot, but he is certainly NOT defective and I couldn't love him more. I'm glad that love doesn't depend on perfection, or I'd be in soooooo much trouble!!;) I wish I could have her, but that's just not possible right now - I'd love to have another fuzzy little fury running around!

One ofmy favorites here has a nubby ear (Rain) and is missing a chunk of her nose. If someone didn't want her because of it then they don't deserve a wonderful chinchilla. Their loss

I've shown her to several people when they have come out to take a look at the chins. They always go with another baby. :( It's sad. :( But, I think it may work out this time...we'll see! :D If not, she can stay with me because I love her and she's from good lines. Maybe, if I ever start putting new chins into breeding, I could put her in with a nice boy one day. (Don't hold your breath...it's doubtful that I will get the chance to breed more with rescues and everything else going on!)

If this home falls through you should railroad her out to me. I have LOTS and LOTS of shreddies!!!
