I've had a 720g male get out of a 1 1/2" (3.85cm) x 3" (7.62cm) hole once. He had a pretty narrow head and body. There is no way the ones I have now could do that, they're too wide.

Thanks for the heads up. Will put them in and watch her for while before hand and see does she try. Tempt her with a treat and stuff to see. I'm planning on getting hammocks and stuff too for it. Be a proper cage compared to the basic one they are in now. Going all out he he. I don't plan to have anymore kits as the two i have now were not supposed to be here lol as mammy was pregnant before i got her. But thanks

Be careful with the "Wait and see" routine. I just got a baby from Kristy (starleomach) who was in a cage for a week before making her first successful attempt. She was small enough to fit through the bar spacing, but it took her a week to find her way out. The wire spacing is about 1"x3" and has some slightly larger spots.

Thanks guys and girls! Hopefully they won't get through the .9 of an inch gap *fingers crossed*

Will update with a new thread once i receive and do up the new cage. I'm super excited to get going cause the cage they are in is well... boring and not big like the new one. And hoping they take to the new arrival in less then a month

Thanks again
