I'm worried about my little man Sparty. Most nights he isn't running and when he does it's only about half a mile. He has this one spot that he keeps itching which i am treating but he still itches. It doesn't seem like he has any bald spots or thinning spots and he has a fleece liner and has been treated for mites so i don't think it is very likely that he has mites. He also makes noises that i think are weird but could just be his normal noises and i just don't know the difference. he sneezes but that usually only right when he is drinking water, almost like he sniffs it in and sneezes it out. He is eating and drinking normally and using the bathroom normally. When i take him out he seems very active and tries to run away from me. and i just being an over worrying mother or is there something i can do to help him in some way? :cry3:

Revolution is the drug of choice for mites.

The drinking/sneezing sounds like it is probably normal. I have a hedgehog at the moment who dips her nose a wee bit too far in her water sometimes and she sneezes afterwards. She mostly does it if there is something distracting her (like I'm in the room and she's watching me).

The one spot he is itching is a bit concerning for me.Is he digging at that spot a lot, or frantically scratching at it? Or is the behavior more of a lazy scratch right after he wakes up?

I have had some that when they woke up for the night, would scratch for a while. They were, more or less, lazily scratching in almost always the same spots to groom their quills.

However, if this is happening all the time, or if its frantic, I think it is time to see the vet again to have that spot examined to determine if there is something else, like a bacterial/fungal/etc infection, in that spot that is irritating him.

I ran out of the Revolution me breeder gave me, is there a place i can get it that's not online? and what kind should i get the kitten one?
I'm glad the sneezing sounds normal, i do have to say it's cute when he sneezes.
I'm not sure how to tell if the itching is frantic, it's always the same spot but i'm not sure how often he does it or how hard he is scratching. i check the spot every night and i don't see anything wrong with it or cuts from scratching or anything
