I use fleece liners, and when changing one of my cages today, the liner was stuck to the pan and I literally had to peel it off? Is this normal? And is it just urine? :err:

Whoa, I have never heard of that. How often do you change the liners, or I guess when was the last time?

Hopefully someone who knows alot more than I do will chim in. It doesnt sound like a good thing to me. how many chins are in the cage in question?? I could see it possibly happening if you had multiple chins who all pee in one spot and it dried, but being as this is the first time its happend Id worry.

I change my liners ever 2-3 days. Its just one chin in the cage. He used to have a glass potty pan but I accidentally broke it and haven't gotten him a new one yet. It was only sticky in one spot in the corner, so I'm assuming thats where hes urinating?

Kishi has gotten into a bad habit of "missing" she'll pee in one corner, and it'll dribble onto the floor beneath the cage, sometimes if she goes in the middle of the night or if i somehow miss it, it'll be sticky when it dries.
but if your fleece is sticking to the pan, it should probably be changed more often, like say, every other day, kishi's cage gets cleaned out every weekend, but i use aspen in her litter tray, it's cheap and i can use it for all the animals, and possibly more absorbant, but that's all i've ever used so i don't know.
