So this past weekend, someone broke into my car, which was parked in my driveway in my very safe neighborhood, in which i live across the street & next door to a cop. Well they stole my ipod. totally my fault for having it in my car with my doors unlocked.
anyhoo............i was angry & depressed, so I went out and bought a new ipod.
I got the ipod touch today, 64gb. anyone else have it? any good apps you can recommend.
It really hurt the pocketbook, but it has wifi and i can check my email and go online wherever there is wifi and the screen is big and it made me feel better to buy!

Aww, that's awful. Some people are just stupid.

Congrats on you new toy! :)

Well at least you got something to keep bizzy with!

My mom lost the camera on her holiday so we bought a new one straight away!
didn't regret it since :D

There are lots of good apps. It all depends on what you are looking for. I have an app that gives me recipes and another on for how to make mixed drinks. Pocket God is also a fun app. Mindless play type of thing. I would just make sure you search for free stuff before spending money on apps. There is a lot for free out there. I don't buy an app unless it is worth it. (it was for pocket god if you enjoy mindless fun that might involve injuring fake pygmies!)

I have an ipod touch and I absolutely can't live without it now. Definitely check out the free apps...I don't think I have paid for an app yet! Here are a few apps (all free!) I use pretty often:
Enjoy Sudoku Daily: Lots of soduku games, updates daily
Shakespeare: Almost all of shakespeare's works in their entirety
Pandora: A music "station" that picks songs based on your tastes
UrbanSpoon: A helpful tool when you can't decide where to eat! You can set what type of cuisine you want, what city, or how much you want to spend. Then you "shake" the ipod and it randomly picks a place for you according to the criteria you entered.
Flixster: Shows what movies are playing in all theaters near you (you can set one as a default theater), times, feedback/reviews, upcoming movies, and links to imdb and other movie/theater websites

thanks for the cool ideas. i had NO clue there were recipe apps!! i love recipes.
i got all free apps, except i paid .99 cents for 1, which was doodle jump. so fun & addicting. my son "begs" me to play. there are so many applications to choose from i dont know which one to download next.
