I just adopted a new hedgehog and the owner before me just feed the hedgehog Iams. So, currently I'm trying to incorporate some new fresh food for the hedgie but all he did is ignoring all the fresh food. I knew the way to change the kibbles. I want to know if the is a way of introducing the fresh food?

I forget who, but they left a message that answers your question. About how the first day you should mix 3/4 old food with 1/4 new food... and keep changing the portions everyday till you've made ur way to 100% new food.. slowly but surly. :)

My hog refuses to touch fresh veg and fruit, He does eat anything meat though - chicken, mealies, and occasionally low fat plain beef or scrambled eggs. I have tried leaving him almost everything I could, and he won't touch it. Some are just picky eaters. Keep trying, but leave some time between new foods, so if he does eat it and it doesn't sit well with him, you know which food it was
