Introducing Kiwi and NYU my two new chins from Burgess! pic

They arrived a few weeks ago, and have happily settled in. They flew all the way here from Thunder Bay!

Kiwi is a dark ebony male, and he weighs 800 grams (bred by Jags)

He has a beautiful blue-black colour and nice clarity. He has a friendly and curious nature and he is one of the few chins who does not 'complain' when being groomed.

NYU is an ebony white female, and she is a whopping 919 grams!!!

She has a smooth and beautifully coloured, ticked and marked coat. She has a good size and compact body. She is a curious, brave and attentive girl who loves to explore.

They are already two of the sweetest chins in my herd and LOVE people. What a change from some of the grumpy chins, lol.

I was thinking of calling them Dolce and Gabbana since I have so many designers in my herd already. (Tiffany, Chanel, Armani, Versace, Dooney)

If Nyu is in reference to Elfin Leid, the name is perfect. Just be careful if stuff starts moving 'on its own' around the cage. I might have to steal her too!

Yes, this describes NYU, and it is also just like THIS chinnie NYU, very sweet and innocent.

Nyu has a childlike personality and infantile knowledge of the world, .... Nyu is innocent and incapable of violent acts, a foil to the normally cold and sadistic Lucy; she is the manifestation of her "good side"

Pretty chins and I like the names.

I just want to point out, in case any new folks are reading this, that two pet store chins can produce "show quality" chins as well. ANY chin is show quality, whether it's 400 gm or 1000 gm, bald, or furry. Show quality just means it can be shown. It has nothing to do with how it will place when shown.

I'm throwing that out there because I keep seeing people say "show quality" with a chin and that really doesn't mean anything because any and all chins can be shown, which by definition makes them show quality.

Thanks Peggy, for clarifying....I don't know if these were ever shown... I just copied and pasted what was said about them on the Burgess Web site.
