I would at least mention the instance to your parents, just so they know about it, should something happen in the future.

If he has anger issues, does he get any help with that?

Just because he's "only in the 8th grade" doesn't mean he's not into drugs and/or alcohol.

He use to go talk to someone about his problems but he stopped seeing him. And I dont think he does drugs, he always talks about how hes so against them...but I could be wrong...
