Why would you make me listen to that drug addicted, brain dead, whiney, no talent singer?? Why would you do that??

Well, if he's there he can't be torturing the rest of us.

Keep waiting to see who got booted...

Peggy, because that kid was hot as heck! I have never seem more gorgeous eyes (except of course Alex O'Loughlin who has THE hottest eyes) on an Idol contestant! I also though Jason Castro had a really nice butt!

Very true Tara. But, as you are my friend, I want to SHARE him with you. :)

Laurie, he was NOT hot. And I swear he was mentally impaired. When his brother tried out this season, and they interviewed him it was like "Whoa dude, look at the pretty chandeliers, hehehe." I don't know how he can even tie his freaking SHOES without help.

I thought it should either be the one they did boot, or the shaggy haired guy. I really don't know why they even let him be in the top anything. He's just not good. You almost have to wonder if he's this year's Sanjaya, because you know all the girls are just going to be all gaga over him.

I liked Crystal's rendition of a Stones song, and Lee wasn't bad either. But seriously, the Rolling Stones? Geez. What a terrible first week on the big stage. None of them were GREAT, just a couple were okay. Honestly, David Cooke was the only one who did them justice at all!

What I want to know is when the heck Idol is going to wise up at get either Barbra Streisand or Cher on this flipping show! Or how about Richard Marx--another great choice!

Well, I feel the season is about as exciting as this thread. Clearly not inspiring us near as much as previous ones.

However.... this is Elvis week. With Adam Lambert.... whom is so far not only giving good advice but convincing them to actually take it.

I haven't seen the results from last week but my friends saved it as it is apparently good.

Ryan isn't being quite so weird except for the tongue comment which was just hilariously awkward for both parties.

Worst person for the night for me was Andrew.

Okay I just have to say this--and I'm sure you all see it coming. I like Adam Lambert--I liked him on Idol but WTF is Idol thinking/doing having Adam mentor Elvis week? SERIOUSLY--there are actually members in Elvis' band that are still alive and performing. If you want to teach someone how to be a performer like Elvis and engage the audience like Elvis let's actually have someone who was lucky enough to grace the stage with The King and not Adam Lambert.

It never fails to amaze me that hardly anyone sings are inspirational song for inspiration week! To me an inspirational song is a religious song which Simon always says is a big no no! How wonderful it would be to see someone stand up and sing How Great Thou Art or Praise You In This Storm.

I thought Idol gives back was good as I always do. I was not sad to see Tim go home as he most often made my ears bleed, but he was incredibly likeable!

i think the remaining 3 deserve to be there, (would have like to see siobhan stick it out a big tho) and that crystal & lee both have amazing voices, would love to see either win. casey is just eye candy with a decent voice.
either way the judges annoyed the crap out of me this year, okay just simon & kara did. i actually really enjoy ellen. she puts fun in the show. cant wait till its over, it is taking up precious cage cleaning time!

I'm bored with it, I don't even care if I miss it. I like to watch the results show if someone I like is performing, but that's about it. I hope Lee wins.

I like Lee and Crystal, and I don't mind who wins, because I think they are both going to have a career in music. I have never liked Casey, I don't think he has any right to be in the top 3. But, I didn't like Mike either, so at least one of them went home.

I like Ellen a lot. I think she has done a heck of a job taking the place of someone who was very popular and very much loved by the public. She cracked me up when she said last night "Yes, I've loved a woman." ROFL

I agree though Tara, I think they are on their way out. Bad enough losing Paula, but now everybody knows Simon is leaving, and I think that'll be the end of it.

That girl comment was the only laugh we got last night. heh.

I think I'll probably give Simon's new show a shot, wouldn't mind watching the British version if we got it.

I like Lee and Crystal and don't mind who wins. Back in the day it seemed like a big thing to be the Idol winner and be guaranteed a contract, now pretty much anyone in the top 10 gets some sort of recording contract so what's the big deal if you win or not?

Ellen's comment was very funny. I loved the duets and hated the individual songs. I mean come on people how many freaking times are we going to hear Kiss From a Rose (yes Lee I am talking at you) and Have You Ever Loved A Woman. I would really like to see people shake things up a bit and do something different for flip sake.

If anyone from Idol is listening, please have Michael Johns on the finale! I miss him so much!

If anyone from Idol is listening, to replace Simon how about Richard Marx or Gene Simmons???! Cher would be amazing! How about the songs of Barbra Streisand for a freaking change? How about some Eddie Money?!!
