Someone asked me to confirm that it wasn't a chin. But i was kinda surprised by some of the similar looks. I had no idea what this actually was. Any ideas?

Lilac or blue self (all one color, no hood or spots) dumbo rat, probably about 3 mo. old. The ears look odd compared to a 'normal' rat b/c they're bred for a mutation that rearranges the muscles around their ears, which makes them cute-- I mean, droop.

Definitely a young dumbo rat--maybe 2-3 months old like 3CsMommy already said--color looks like either American Blue or Mink (lilac is a shade of mink). Could be either a self, irish, or Berkshire--I can't be certain without seeing the belly .

I've always wanted a rat. But so far haven't gotten one. Thinking it might be a good "first pet" (as in, first pet that is "her's") for my daughter when she is a bit older.
