i want to bread chinchillas

i love my chinchillas and they make great pets. i have two of the 'regular' color chins, a blue chinchilla (thats what the petstore said anyway), a white one and one with red eyes. i think the blue chinchilla and the white one would make pretty babies. or maybe the beige one too. can i just put them all together? the regular ones are boys te other ones are girls...i think anyway, thats what the petstore lady told me. how long until i get babies? what colors can i get? are they born ugly like rats are?

No problem! Pretty babies are sooooo important.

You can put as many chins together as you want to. The more the merrier! It works especially well if you put lots of males with one or more females.

well of course i live in a house. my mom always told me when im on the internet never give my exact location- you don't know what kind of people are out there.

so i can just throw them all in one cage then? i can't wait for babies!

Sure, I bread my chinchilla all the time. I'm partial to Panko crumbs instead of regular bread crumbs, though; they crisp up better in the hot oil.
