Oh, gotcha! Well you have to cut the tiles anyway, you could just cut the notch out of one of the larger tiles to match the opening. The tile would look like an "L".

So adding 30+ pounds to each level in tile does not seem to be an issue??? Even for the middle levels (2nd or 3rd floor)?

How long have they been tiled this way? Is their bowing from the weight on any level?

Do they smell after awhile?

Why not just use an empty base pan?
