I think Trixie will LOVE her Mazuri

Yesterday I went to PetSmart and bought Trixie a bag of Mazuri food. I wanted to buy some before she was totally out of the Kaytee, so I could mix them together. After I emptied the bag into the bin I use, I took a small handful to mix in with the food that was in her bowl. She sniffed my hand, and then started eating it from my hand, before I even got to her food dish. She then ate some after it was in her bowl. She seemed to really enjoy the change.

And the thing is, the Mazuri was cheaper than the Kaytee. So I am glad she liked it.

Well, comparing the 2.5 lb of Mazuri to 2.5 lb KayTee Fiesta, it was. Mazuri was 8.99 and KayTee was 11.99. At least here.

It would be even cheaper if you bought it from a seller on here. I pay less than half the petstore price for the same amount. It's totally worth looking into Glad she's taking to the food change so quickly!

To be honest, if I had more than just Trixie, I would buy in bulk or online. But a two or 3 lb bag lasts her quite a while...and sh is one of the few indulgences I have.
About her taking to it, I suspect when she saw it in my hand, she thought it was a treat. But she does like it.

Yeah, if you just have one chin and don't live near an independent seller to get it in person, it ends up being more convenient and about the same price to just get it at Petsmart. Where I used to live, it ended up being twice the cost to ship the Mazuri to me, which was a bummer. However, now I live by a rescue and get my pellets there.

Either way, Mazuri is 2834798374928374892387429374 times better than any crap Kaytee puts out there, so way to go! I'm really really glad you made the switch and that your chinny is happy )

Glad you made the switch to Mazuri! Trixie will be so much healthier now that she isn't getting whatever Kaytee puts in their food on a daily basis.
