Those are the best pictures I could get. It's only on one side(I think? He won't let me handle him much so it's hard to get a good look of it). He's acting normal, I just want to know if this is something I should be concerned about.

So should I just watch it and see what happens? How long are they usually out for? I don't want to forcefully handle him unless it's absolutely necessary. He's still getting used to my company and I don't want to ruin that. He's about 9 months old now, if that's any help.

It's like perfectly round.

Horrible picture, I know. My mom took it and she's technologically challenged. Lol.

They're both pretty much the same. I didn't think they'd be shaped like that. It's like an oval with a tail. Lol

That's just his boy parts. It is pretty scary the first time someone sees that without knowing what is going on down there. I have gotten so many calls from new chins owners that get totally freaked out from seeing those bumps for the first time.

I was panicking that something was wrong. If I'd have to take him to the vet, I'd be spending my concert money. XD glad I don't have to do that.

It would be my luck too. My cat broke his leg and required a specialist to fix it, so my animals are never easy on me money wise lol.

I'm glad he's okay. He actually tolerated being held better than I thought he would. He wiggled and shook a bit but he was quiet and calmed down until I shifted his position to get a better look.

Thanks guys. :)

How often can chinchillas sneeze???

I have three chinchillas a month ago and one week after arriving they start to sneeze one by one 5 days apart from each other. They all stoped sneezing after a week or so of continuous sneezing. They never stop from eating, drinking and playing normally. (they fly in the cage) Still sometimes they can sneeze twice or three times during the day. They behave normally other than that. I'm scare when handling the treats cause they want to snatch them from my hands. Should I worry for these sneezing or is it kind of normal???

:hmm:
