I am just bursting with chinchilla love lately. I had a dream the other night that I got 8 more O_O but I obviously can't do that in real life at the moment so I need to sublimate the urge. So gimme some cute pictures of your chins! I want to see them all!

Of course I must provide pics of my own. Here's Bubs in his dust fish (random glass fish I found at HomeGoods), and generally looking cute as he goes about his day. I wish my phone had a better camera

Well I got some bad news today--found out I failed the bar exam a second time. I've been cheering myself up with these adorable pics of Bubs sleeping. Hope you all enjoy them too!

PS: If anyone is worried about how pink Bubs' ears are, these pics were taken after a lot of playtime and during a heat wave here in SoCal. He enjoyed cooling himself off on the porcelain of the toilet and then went to sleep in his cage with an ice bottle in a sock, and his ears un-pinked right away.

:cry4: I'm sorry to hear that... But at least you have your Bubs to brighten up your day! If it makes you feel any better, I've worked for physicians who've had to take the state boards several times before they passed!

Can't believe ive had carl for four years now! Owner said he was orginally 5 or 6 when i first got him but he certainly does not act old!

We took him in for his first checkup today, and the vet said he is "perfect." 540 grams and totally healthy. TmG, they said they have chinchilla patients who are in their THIRTIES. So Carl has a ways to go!
