Sooo...last night around midnight our power goes off...I'm thinking well...it'll be back on in a few minutes...NOPE it just came back on about 20 minutes ago :( we had a huge storm roll through and it sounded like freight trains were running on both sides of our house..I was told that the wind was 64mph (not sure yet)

If anyone is waiting to hear back from me, whether it be via pm or email...I'll be working on it as fast as I can. I wasn't able to pack any orders last night like I usually do at that time, nor was I able to print postage, so everything will be a day late going out :( I've got to do 2 days worth of stuff today if I can squeeze it all in!!!

Sorry everyone!

The last 17 hours was COLD, boring and just plain terrible!!!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE ELECTRICITY!!!!!

I'm with you Carise, electricity rocks. We were without for several days in December and it was awful! I used to think living like the Ingalls on Little House would be great but now, I know I couldn't actually do it LOL.

Girl....we had winds yesterday that were 55ish mph SUSTAINED - and when the storm actually came thru, the gusts were just WILD!! More power outages around here and they still don't have everyone back on from the ice storm from 2 weeks ago yet! Sheesh!

Yikes, we had the 50+ mph winds here too, but luckily no power outages, although a few weeks ago it was 47 degrees in my appt for 4 days.

We had gusts up to 66mph. I lost power for 12 hours. After the last wind storm and losing power for 7 days, this time was not so bad. But I have had enough of it for a while.

Florida isn't that nice when it comes to power outages though, during the hurricanes a couple years ago we were out for almost 3 weeks. Was really hard to get ready to go to school and have to take ice cold showers in the dark b/c no electricity means no water heater and no hot water. We got a tent for the next hurricane and camped outside afterwards while waiting for the power to come back on, for 8 days that time, but it was a lot cooler!

Yeah..I was wondering if I had moved to florida and just forgot LOL It was like a hurricane ROFL

I'm cold all the time, no matter what so when the temp started dropping inside the house, I panicked ROFL

Jay went to his brothers to pick up a small generator and a propane heater for the living room so we could have some heat because when I called the electric company the message I got was that it SHOULD be back on by Saturday evening....we could not survive that long without electricity LOL whats funny is as soon as he pulled into the driveway at his brothers.....the electricity came back on LOL..figures!

I'm with you Carise! Our power was out here for two days, the only time it came on was at night when we were sleeping so that didn't help much except to get the house warmed back up and then it went out again before we got up. It was funny though because when it did come on, all the lights were on from us going around and haphazardly flipping the switches forgetting that nothing would happen!! :)
