Okay my daughter has frequent ear pain, It is congenital thing , but what I have done is put long grain rice in a sock (clean one) tie it and put that in the Microwave for about 2 minutes. It hold the heat nicely and it 'pulls" out the pain, as per my daughter. It may smell like burnt Popcorn after a while so I put some nice aroma-therapy oils in it, like Lavender and vanilla is very nice. It is cheap and it works for all kind of pain.
Ask you ENT for ear drops that can numb the ear canal and help with the pain, dizzyness can me Menier's or can be fluid build-up in the middle ear, pressure can REALLY hurt. Ear-inpaction can hurt like a toothache but your ears would be "clogged" and hearing would be hard on that ear, .
I have had lots of expierence with ear issues since my daughter, getting to the Dr and getting the correct answers are what is important.
