I am completely beaten down now.

I noticed this morning that Bear had discharge coming out of his left nostril. The area around his nose looks red and he is pawing at it.

I'm guessing a URI. We have a vet appointment later today.

I am really starting to wonder what is going on now. This can't all be coincidence....

maybe its the "bad things come in 3's" and it is coincidence.

hopefully the vet can help answer that.

It doesn't sound like it's related. This is how chins can be. Months and months of no problems and then, BAM, everything is insane. It will go back to normal, I promise.

Of course, this is all probably making you clean up everything and scrub everything in the cage. Having something to do helps with the anxiety...or at least it does with me. Sometimes we all hit little rough patches where one of the fuzzies isn't doing so well. My vet tells me that I get used to everything going so well for so long that a problem just throws everything off and it really isn't as bad as it seems. My poor vet, he knows I am crazy about the chins and seriously I take everything. I wonder if they call me the "crazy" chin lady or something behind my back. hmmm..

Did I have a point? Yeah...don't worry, everything will be alright. All you can do is the best you can do!
